Mistress Coyle is getting more frustrated by the day as she sees the President gaining control again. Viola is pleased to see people from her colony, but she too is conflicted on what to do. How does he achieve such control over his army? He keeps Todd at his side, claiming to want peace for everyone, but all Todd wants is Viola’s safety. President Prentiss is acting strangely and so are his men. Todd and Viola’s work on achieving peace has just begun. But is using them the right thing to do? There are thousands of colonists due in weeks, and they will be landing in an all out war. The first scout ship from Viola’s colony has arrived, and it has superior weapons to both the army and the Spackle. One Spackle escaped the President’s slavery, and he wants revenge at any cost.
